Social Commentary

Beginning in 1989 making mixtapes with an overdubbing karaoke cassette recorder, the moving to tape and vinyl DJing in 1994, DJs4 has consistently pushed the envelopes of good taste, dance floor depravity, and seeing just how far you can push a party outside of the realm of the expected and overplayed.

With residencies in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, and having toured most of the US, DJs4’s themes are globally inspired and universally illegal.

Ghetto Funk Icons

Built to cruise the sexy streets of San Diego, this mixtape draws entirely from a single record label, the fantastic UK based Ghetto Funk. This mix of funky breaks is based on the hottest singles in history, and is known to annoy the hell out of my son simply based on Eric Clapton’s Cocaine.
